Corns on the feet is a prevalent problem that most people deal with at some point. Corn is a hardened, thickened skin on foot, usually in the shape of a circle. Corns which are less hard are referred to as calluses or callosities. These are usually formed as a result of excessive pressure on the feet due to prolonged standing or walking, or wearing ill-fitting shoes for a long time. Corns can be painless or painful. In some cases, I have seen foot corns get inflamed or start to suppurate (form pus) due to another infection. Homeopathic medicines for corns are a gentle, effective method to help get rid the of this problem. Antimony Crudum in particular a very good medicine that helps reduce the intensity of many symptoms of corns, and also helps treat the problem on a long-term basis.
Homeopathic Medicines for Corns
Homeopathic medicines for corns on the feet are made of natural substances that do not cause any side effects. These medicines work gently yet effectively to treat the condition on a long-term basis. Many cases of corns on feet during the course of my clinical practice have been treated well with different homeopathic medicines. These medicines help reduce the severity and recurrence of the symptoms. I have treated a large number of cases (of foot corns) with the homeopathic medicine Antimony Crudum. Very often, a neglected problem of corns can lead to an infection. In such cases of corns, where there is a discharge of pus, I rely on silicea to clear up the infection in the shortest possible time.
Antimony Crudum – Homeopathic Medicine for Large Foot Corns
Antimonium Crudum is a homeopathic medicine used to treat large corns on the feet that are painful. This is a very common complaint. The corns can be present on the soles of the feet or the ball of the toe. The affected part becomes hardened, thickened and raised. There may be intense pain and sensitivity to cold water. I have seen highly effective results using Antimony Crudum to treat inflamed corns, and to reduce the pain and swelling.

This medicine is also used to treat pressing or pulsating pain in the corns.
Lycopodium Clavatum – Homeopathic Medicine for Corns on Heels
Lycopodium Clavatum is a homeopathic medicine used to treat corns on heels. The heels are covered with tough, thickened and extremely painful calluses (pain that gets worse while walking). A tearing, stinging pain is felt and there may be deep cracks in the skin of the heels.

Sulphur is a Homeopathic medicine used to treat inflamed and intensely painful corns. These corns are hardened spots on the feet and are large. There may be a burning sensation in the soles of the feet. The pain and burning may get worse at night. Affected people develop an aversion to washing their feet and the condition gets worse on standing.

Hello Dr Sharma, I’ve had toenail fungus for over 25 years. I have tried many over the counter and natural treatments like snake oil, iodine, bleach, and many others treating consistently for 4 or 6 months each. I have seen some improvements but the fungus comes back and the nails get brittle again and again. I am so embarrassed and find myself hiding my feet wearing socks and tennis shoes or closed shoes. I know I have to let my feet ventilate but I’m so ashamed of my feet that I won’t even go to the beach for years unless I just walk in shoes:-(
How can you help me? Is there any hope for me?
I eat healthy, not overweight and have no disease. I take ni medications other than magnesium, niacin and triphala.
Thank you
